This extends even to Kalus' childhood, where Theena read Kameo a bedtime story every night, while sending Kalus off to her lessons or to study. Another example is Theena showing Kameo more affection while ignoring Kalus completely. Even when Kalus is preparing for her ceremony and has to learn about the Element of Power, the Wotnot and what is involved, Theena again ignores Kalus, telling her she is too busy, while spending time with Kameo. What both the journals cover is Theena constantly ignoring Kalus in favor of Kameo, this getting to the point of neglect and even hints at an abusive relationship between the two. This content explains character's actions, backstory and their history in far more depth as the game barely skims across it.Ī prime example being when Lenya (Kameo and Kalus's aunt) says that Kalus was bothered by the attention Theena always gave Kameo. Kameo fans had to go through a lot of work to recover things like the journal from the website and more lore about the game.

This resulted in the final version we see today, but making it exclusive to the Xbox 360 heavily affected Kameo's potential, as the game would have done better if it was made available on PC as well as other consoles.

There were 2 versions of the game made for the XBOX, both having a different story, but the final XBOX version of the game was almost complete before Microsoft told them to make it an Xbox 360 exclusive, as they wanted it to be the first launch title for the console. When Microsoft bought Rare from Nintendo, Kameo was one of the IPs that was bought along with it, so it moved to the XBOX console. The game started development on the Nintendo 64 (contrary to popular belief it was GameCube that the game started it's journey on) before being moved to the Nintendo GameCube. The most notable being 2 journals belonging to each sister that describe events that take place a week before the game's events.

This includes an official manga, an 8 episode podcast and much more content packed into the official website before it was changed to redirect to Rare's website. Rare and Microsoft fixed this by making external sources to fill up those gaps the game barely touched on.
KAMEO ELEMENTS OF POWER 2 FULL
Kameo: Elements of Power has a very long development history of 5 years, with the storyline changing, certain characters being scrapped and many parts of the full store and lore not making it into the game. Throughout your journey you collect monsters called Elemental Warriors, each having their own abilities and skillset mapped to the triggers of the controller, and you turn into each one in order to fight a massive army of Trolls. When Theena unfairly grants the Element of Power and Wotnot to Kameo, denying her other daughter, Kalus' birthright, she seeks to take this back by force, by freeing one of the Elves' worst enemy: Thorn, the troll king. It's the story of Kameo, favourite daughter of Theena and the general public of the Enchanted Kingdom and tribal lands.

"What the heck is 'Kameo: Elements of Power?" Kameo: Elements of Power is a game made exclusively for the Xbox 360. Having a PC port would invite new people to check out the game if they've never heard of it before or gave it a pass due to being exclusive to Xbox 360 back then, and Xbox ONE now (it also comes with Rare Replay with unlockable content, that talks more about the game as well as showing a darker alternative with the cancelled sequel) It would make the game more accessible to fans, both new and old, as well as being an underrated game with a surprising amount of lore and thought put into it, carrying through all versions of the game on 4 consoles. Not only this, but with today's market, it would be a fun and excellent game, and a blast from the past that still holds up graphically by today's standards. (along with a sequel and remake of course) While the fandom is only starting to gather together, this has been demanded and requested since the game's launch back in 2005. Making a PC port of the game has been a long-time demand from both Kameo fans and those who saw the game, but did not have access to a 360 console as well as new players just finding the game now.
